Discusses baptism in 1833; successive moves to Kirtland, Ohio, 1837, Far West, Missouri, and Nauvoo, Illinois, 1840; exodus west; brief stops at Mt. Pisgah, Iowa and Council Bluffs, Iowa before arriving in Salt Lake Valley, 1851; settlement at Provo; removal of his wife, after his death, to Wallsburg.
