Analyzes changes in the diet of Asian-American males that take place when they move to America from their home countries. Analyzes possible causes for these changes. Explains that availability of ingredients for authentic Asian food is not a problem in the Bay area in California. Identifies time as the major factor that determines how often informants eat authentic Asian food. Mentions that many informants only eat at Bay area Chinese restaurants because of the quality. Explains that the amount of time the informant has spent in America also affects how frequently they eat food from their native region.
