Consist primarily of incoming and outgoing correspondence (original copies, carbon copies, and telegrams). Dated from 1944 to 1952, the papers include correspondence received by Julius A. Krug, Chairman of the War Production Board (October 1944-November 1945); incoming and outgoing correspondence of the Office of the Secretary of the Interior during Krug's tenure (April 1946-November 1949); and incoming and outgoing correspondence (December 1949-April 1952) of Julius A. Krug after his resignation as Secretary of the Interior. Krug's resignation along with President Truman's letter of acceptance is included. The collection also contains a few personnel documents regarding Krug's service as acting chairman of the War Production Board.
