Annual inventories of state owned furnishings in the Executive Mansion were prepared and sent to the Auditor of Public Accounts listing quantity, value, and description for each list item. Items include furniture; rugs and carpeting; curtains and draperies; chandeliers; fireplace tools; kitchen appliances; maids' uniforms; mirrors; clocks; silverware; typewriters; sewing machine; piano; billiard table; vacuum cleaner; telephone stand; electric fans; cuspidors; barber chair; commodes; and flat irons.

The Board of Fund Commissioners was created by l. 1837, p. 121. Board contracted for and negotiated all loans authorized by General Assembly for internal improvements and signed and executed all bonds or stock certificates issued for such loans.
