The Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Sigma Nu was installed at the University of North Dakota on June 13, 1923 when the local fraternity, Synergoi Fraternity, sought affiliation with a national fraternity. Traditional Fraternity rituals included "stool night" and Armistice Day observance (later changed to Memorial Day observance).
