Lawyer of Concord, Mass. Born in Lincoln, Mass., 1785; died in Concord, 1863. Graduated from Harvard College, 1809, then studied law at Concord office of Samuel Hoar. Legal practice largely concerned with probate. Held wide variety of organizational positions and public offices.
