William Sumner Appleton scrapbook of material issued by or relating to the Massachusetts Society of Sons of the Revolution, 1905-1947.

Two scrapbook volumes containing Massachusetts Sons of the Revolution materials dated 1905-1918 and 1918-1947. Volumes include: printed announcements, notices, and reports; typed minutes of meetings; correspondence; clippings; ballots; applications and other forms; invitations; tickets; statements of dues owed; printed speech; printed promotional materials; menus for annual dinners; printed and other keepsake items. Some of the material included was generated by the national Society of Sons of the Revolution, some by other state societies. Each volume is inscribed. (Cont.) on front free endpaper by Appleton for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (the inscriptions dated 1919 Feb. 6).
