Letter dated Nov. 16, 1887, encloses a letter Mrs. Denton had written "To the Seven Condemned [Haymarket] Anarchists," which had been mutiliated and held up in the mails until after the execution and then sent to Lum as ed. of The Alarm; accompanied by a copy of the (lacking) enclosure in the holograph of Mrs. Denton (3 p. signed) and the communication about the letter from the Post Office Dept. Letter dated Feb. 21, 1888, written on the verso of a confidential announcement of the "resurrection" of The Alarm, concerns books ordered.
