Also include articles and short essays, circulars for the Michigan Site-Value-Tax League, and statements in support of the 1882 platform of the Detroit Trades and Labor Council. Chiefly concern Grenell's activities with the labor movement, especially in Detroit, his interests in agriculture, economics, and taxation, and his studies of leaders in these fields, including Henry George, J.A. Labadie, John M. McGregor, and Roy W. Sellars.
