In a letter to John Cook Wyllie, Bartlett thanks Wyllie for a check and comments on Chichen Itza and an enclosed watercolor "Two Mayan cut stone motifs, Chichen Itza, Yucatan." He also refers to his other paintings and reports that his novel is done.
