The papers chiefly concern General Rosser's land holdings in Kentucky and include deeds, bid assignments, a letter, a memorandum, and a list of surveyor's measurements. There are also six cancelled checks; a receipt; a letter to Thomas L. Rosser, Jr.; an article re: General Rosser's skirmish at New Creek, W. Va.; and an inscribed copy of Telamon Smith's "A roster of the surviving general officers of the Confederates States Army 1861-1865."
