Journal of Robert Woodward Barnwell plantations, 1838-1859.

Volume contains records (1838-1859) of Robert Woodward Barnwell's plantations in Beaufort County, South Carolina. The plantation book lists the names of slaves, and clothing and blankets given to slaves at Cotton Hope, Bull's Point, Woodward, and the Briars Plantations. Loose papers include a copy (1863) of William Hazzard Wigg Barnwell's last will and testament (1859), and lists of the names of slaves (1852 Jan., 1860, and n.d.) on Robert Woodward Barnwell's plantations.
