William Warren research on the Punderson family, ca. 1980-1985.

As curator at Connecticut Historical Society, Warren conducted extensive research on the Punderson family of Preston, Connecticut, notable for being a Tory family that fled Connecticut during the Revolution. The CHS holds a large number of items related to the family in the museum, graphics and library departments. Warren's research includes several essays or chapters from his final book, photographs, genealogical research, information on needlework in general, correspondence, and copies and transcripts of original documents. A set of catalog cards appear to be for sources Prudence Punderson Rossiter may have used for her drawings and needlework.
