Imperial Valley Water Supply, 1915-1916.

Documents and map relating to a talk given by J.C. Allison on December 18, 1915 about Imperial Valley irrigation and water supply diverted from the Colorado River, particularly regarding flooding and silt deposit. This was during the period when the irrigation system, which had been owned and operated by the California Development Company, was formally purchased by the Southern Pacific Railroad and then sold to the Imperial Irrigation District.
