Lists and maps of land offered for sale, 1912-1970.

Printed lists of state land offered for sale by the State Auditor (through 1932) and the Commissioner of Conservation (after 1932). These lists give the legal description of the land, usually noting both its appraised value and the appraised value of any timber or other improvements. Occasionally, the land is categorized into agricultural, non-agricultural, pasture, hay, grazing, etc. Times and places of the sales are given. Very rarely, photographs of sample parcels may be included (especially for Aitkin County). The lists are supplemented by maps showing the locations of lands for sale, 1912-1920.
