Correspondence and miscellany relating to Scriver's World War I service in France with the American Red Cross largely as an organizer of social activities for soldiers in Paris (Aug.-Oct. 1918; May-Aug. 1919) and Marseilles (Oct. 1918-April 1919). Her letters discuss her work, social life, dances for American soldiers, relationships with French families, and descriptions of wartime life in the cities.
