Curnen, Edward C. (Edward Charles), 1909-1997

Curnen was a pediatrician, medical researcher, and professor of medicine. He received his M.D. from Harvard 1935 and held positions in pediatrics and infectious disease research at hospitals in Boston, New York, and New Haven, Connecticut. Curnen taught medicine at Yale University from 1946-1952 and at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, from which he retired in 1974. From the description of Papers, 1912-1982.
