Includes will, 15 June 1770, London, England, of King's partner, Sarah Nickleson, naming him as executor; contemporary copy of letter, 22 Feb. 1797, [London], C[harles] Rich, to Nathaniel Russell, Charleston, S.C., informing him of a bequest made by King "as a Token of Friendship"; and volume, 1783-1798, London and Bristol, letterbook containing letters to Joshua Ward, James Fisher, and Nathaniel Russell at Charleston, re collection of debts due to Isaac King, and copies of six letters, 1785- 1794, from Joshua Ward, advising of the difficulties in collecting debts since the action of the legislature deferring payments and preventing seizure of property.
