Samuel Gallu papers, 1935-1991 (bulk 1975-1991).

The collection contains the professional papers of Samuel Gallu, including drafts and final copies for fifty-six plays and screenplays, most notably "Give 'Em Hell Harry," "Churchill," "The Murder of Jack Ruby," "Navy Log," and "To Set the Record Straight," involving Harry S. Truman, Winston Churchill, Jack Ruby, John F. Kennedy, John J. Sirica, and Watergate. His research materials for some of these works plus clippings about Romania for "Ozymandias" are accompanied by audio-visuals and photographs (particularly of "Navy Log" and John F. Kennedy), programs, and contracts. Also, contains personal papers including alumni awards from Penn State, biographical and autobiographical articles, correspondence (some with Walter H. Annenberg and John J. Sirica), estate papers, clippings and programs from his singing career, materials about Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians with whom Gallu sang, and family photographs.
