Wilbur H. Duncan, University of Georgia Professor Emeritus of Botany and retired Curator of the GA Herbarium. Wilbur Duncan was born on October 15, 1910 in Buffalo, New York and received an A.B. (1932) and M.A. (Botany, 1933) from Indiana University. After earning a Ph.D. from Duke University under forest ecologist Clarence F.
