Text of 1965 interview; a small collection of letters; two versions of a poster for the poem, The Eagle's Mile [1981]; and published interviews, reviews, and discussions of works written by and about James Dickey. Chiefly articles about James Dickey with one folder of essays published by the poet; and 7 letters, 8 May 1969 - 16 June 1980, most written to Robert England of San Francisco, Calif., and one, 16 July 1980, to William F. Buckley in New York, N.Y.; some clippings document activities of other members of the Dickey family. Interview, Oct. 1965 (audio tape recording), re poetry and poetics, later published in Eclipse, no. 5 [1966], issued by Associated Student of San Fernando Valley State College (Northridge, Calif.); and typed transcript of interview with manuscript annotations. Two illustrated, printed posters, both signed by the author, copies of the poem, The Eagle's Mile [1981, filed with oversize items, Pob-3] Vertical files, 1966-1995 and 1998 [filed in Plb], consisting of clippings, programs, articles, and ephemera in which Dickey is quoted, interviewed, photographed, or otherwise cited.
