Included in this collection are over 2,000 black-and-white photographs of the shipyard, ships that were manufactured over the years (interior and exterior), ship launchings from Newport News (1926-1946), shipyard employees, and Collis Potter Huntington and his family. Also, includes correspondence between Huntington and other business associates, and material related to hull design tests created by the hydraulic laboratory of the company.
