Interview with Anna Scheidegger and her cousin, Adolph Oien, concerning her life. Includes her first job at the Ole Viker farm, working from 3 a.m. to midnight, cooking at Grandin No. 4 Farm near Halstad, Minn., John Wynan, farm manager, description of her daily schedule and of the cook car, rules for behavior of hired men and female staff, bug infested bunkhouses at Grandin Farms, John Konen, August Oien, her uncle and also a Norwegian immigrant.
