Thomas Charles Power was born at Dubuque, Iowa, May 22, 1839, the son of Irish immigrants, Michael W. Power and Catherine McLeer Power. William Davies was born in Wales in 1890. He came to Montana in 1912 and went to work for the T.C. Power Company and the N. S. Ranch, near Cascade. About 1916 he moved to Chinook to work for the J. L. Sprinkle ranch. After Sprinkle died, Davies leased the ranch for the next 20 years, and then bought it in 1943. Davies died October 13, 1977.
