Items pertaining to Federal Financial Aid programs, the 1995 search for Director of Admissions and Financial Aid and the reorganization of that office, grant entitlements, direct lending and loan insurance, Freshman Academic Scholarship information and student employment. Items of interest include a letter by two students complaining of their treatment by the Financial Aid Office and the request to the federal government for additional funds due to Midwestern flooding. Dates range between 1961 and 1995. Some UMM personnel included in correspondences are Gary McGrath, Bettina Blake, David Johnson, John Q. Imholte, Frank B. Wilderson and Steve Granger. There are also letters from the U.S Department of Education, Bob Bergland (US Congress) and Walter Mondale (US Senate).
