Patrick Flynn, USCG, containing detailed descriptions of his activities relating to Hurricane Katrina rescue operations including: supporting the Incident Command Post in Alexandria, La.; organizing the Incident Command System (ICS); securing and mobilizing USCG property and staff in the path of Katrina; his account for the Internal Support Command (ISC) personnel and to recall staff; providing necessary entitlement information to the members; locating water, fuel, diesel fuel, and other resources; using ham radio operators to assist in communications; and improving emergency action plans for members who need to contact us and communicating back to members by updating their emergency data.
