Nineteen notebooks, two photograph albums. Notebooks compiled by Matlack are titled "Friends' Meeting Houses and the boarding homes, schools and burial grounds associated with them;" vols. 1-17, 19 contain historical sketches and photographs of Friends Meeting Houses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, Long Island, New York City and various scattered localities; vol. 18 contains biographical sketches and portraits of prominent Friends associated with American Meetings; photograph albums (vols. 20, 21) of "Friends' Meeting localities belonging to Philadelphia Yearly Meeting both in the past and present time...."
