University of Michigan photograph album, 1885-1918.

Album is composed of faded green and black cardboard pages and covers and is tied with red cord. Each of the 13 pp. includes one photograph measuring approx. 6 inches x 4 inches from a magazine. Photographs are of river scenes (5), and university buildings (7), including the Old University Library, which existed from 1883 to 1918, University Hall, which existed from 1871 to 1950, and the West Engineering Annex, which existed from 1885 to 1956. Some of the photographs were taken of the entire campus from elevated positions. There are also two photographs of statues. Based on the fact that all the buildings exist in some of the photographs together, the album must date from between 1885 and 1918.
