Part I. Part of Falstaff for Shakespeare's King Henry IV. Note by William Dowton that this was "Mr [James] Quins Part of Falstaff - given by Mr. Garrick to Mr. T[Thomas] King and by Mr. King to W. Dowton in 1798." However, the part book was probably prepared for Thomas King who played Falstaff at the Haymarket, August-September 1792, his only appearance in that part.
