Letter from Mrs. Ottley, Brompton, to Mrs. Garrick [manuscript], 1803 May 18.

Mrs. Ottley begs leave through her friends the Mrs. Stapleses, that she may be favoured with any small bit of the mulberry tree planted by Shakespeare and celebrated by Mrs. Garrick. Such a relic would not be ill bestowed on her, who would consider it a most valuable memorial, a feast for the imagination, and a favor from Mrs. Garrick.
