White (Harvard, M.D. 1880) was visiting physician at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Boston, Mass. and was one of the founders of the New England Baptist Hospital. He was a member of the Roxbury Society for Medical Improvement, the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Harvard Medical Alumni Association. He taught theory and practice of medicine for a number of years at Tufts Medical School.
