ALS, 1817 February 11 : Parma [Italy] to Victoire.

Thanks for almanacs and New Year's wishes. Mme Scarampi has had a baby boy. Marie Louise gives a ball every week and has seen the Princess of Lorraine in Italy. Colonna (?) advances well. The General (Count Adam Albert von Neipperg) sends his respects but always fears Victoire will again be sympathetic about his Brazilian project.
