Court records, including some cases that were handled by Benjamin Harrison and his law firm. Suits and documents deal with naturalization, mainly Irish; estates; patents; and warrants. Topics include mills, the legal rights of unmarried couples, and bankruptcy. Also included is a suit to end the charter of the Indianapolis and Brownsburg Plank Road Company, and articles of association for the Indianapolis Law School, two medical colleges, and the Indiana State Spiritual Association. Most of the cases are civil and not criminal.
