This collection consists of Rev. Albert Atwood's correction proof for a 2nd edition of his book The Conquerors. Rev. Atwood went through making corrections and changes for a 2nd edition. It doesn't appear that a 2nd edition was printed. The collection also contains research notes for his book. Included in the collection is a leather stock book titled, Seattle Mining and Milling Company, 1897. It is about a 6.5" leather book listing different individuals and the amount paid. It appears these individuals are stock holders of the company.

Reverend Jason Lee, pioneer Methodist missionary, was born on June 28, 1803 in Stanstead, Quebec. After his ordination in 1834, Jason Lee and his nephew, Daniel Lee, journeyed overland to Oregon to serve the Flathead Indians.
