Paul Robeson and his wife Eslanda visited Brisbane in October 1960. He sang at a concert at Festival Hall on Saturday, October 15 and they both attended some functions in Brisbane during their short stay. The autographed programme was obtained at a private reception at the home of Mrs Ivy Scott (pictured in the garden party photograph) at New Farm.
