A manuscript book of riddles, rebuses, poems and other literary recreations, compiled by Mrs. Stapleton for Miss Mary Arnold in the late 18th century. The volume contains poetry by Lord Lyttelton, Congreve and others, as well as riddles, puzzles, rebuses and acrostics. Many of these take marital or love advice as their topic, but there are also several puzzles concerned with Tunbridge Wells and with members of the nobility.
