Letterbooks (letterpress). Books contain copies of letters (also some bills, receipts, reports, etc.) originating from the office of the Central Superintendency written by Hoag, Cyrus Beede (chief clerk) and Edward F. Hoag (clerk and son of Hoag) and addressed to the U.S. Commissioner of Indian Affairs (Francis A. Walker 1871-1872, Edward P.
