Man among heads [seal impression]. [modern impression of seal created between 1920 and 1750 B.C.]

Filted figure in pointed cap (possibly with horns), holding a staff above the ground in one hand, and an axe over the shoulder in the other, walks among four rows of nearly identical heads in caps. His kilt is double hemmed at the knees, as his cap may be (if the second hem is not meant to indicate horns). His staff has a globe near the bottom, and at the top two short horizontal strokes. Behind him, a bird looks back over itself into the second row of heads. Single border at top and bottom.

1 seal impression : baked polyform ; 72 x 37 mm.; image height: 33 mm.
