Lion and prey [seal impression]. [modern impression of seal created between 600 and 400 B.C.]

Lion and hooved quadruped engage in a circle. Both figures cut in cursory style with drill used on eyes, nose, and feet. Both animals look toward the hinderparts of other, with antelope (?) in a kneeling position. Lion's head seen from above as three drilled dots. Single border is an irregular oval, crudely following the shape of the impression.

1 seal impression : baked polyform ; 18 x 17 mm.; image size: 15 mm.
