Worshiper facing standards of Marduk and Nabu and killing of Humbaba [seal impression]. [modern impression of seal created between 800 and 700 B.C.]

Bearded worshiper in long skirt facing standards of Marduk (tasselled spade) and Nabu (wedge) and killing of Humbaba by Gilgamesh and Enkidu. The worshiper has one hand raised and pointing, the other extended palm up. His skirt is double-belted, vertically striated, has a dot-in-square pattern, and is fringed. The standards are in the upper field; Marduk's is on a stepped stand, Nabu's on a square one. Gilgamesh wears quivers on his back, a conical helmet, and an open, fringed robe; he steps on Humbaba's foot, holds him by a lock of hair and stabs him in the shoulder. Humbaba's upper body is shown frontally, full faced and bare chested, as he kneels on one knee holding Gilgamesh's ankle in one hand, the other extending behind Enkidu; his knee-high skirt has a dot-in-square pattern; above him, in the upper field, a crescent and the Pleaides. Enkidu holds an axe over his head while stepping on Humbaba's thigh and holding a lock of hair; his skirt is as Enkidu's. Behind him and the worshiper, an inscription in negative (carved positive on the seal): sza2 {Id}masz=pap-pap "(seal) of Ninurta-ahu-usur." Border lines at top and bottom.
