Guest book : Gannochy, 1929-1939.

Contains the signatures of guests and the dates of their visits to Gannochy, J.P. Morgan's hunting lodge in east central Scotland. Guests included Morgan's friends and family. Two guests worthy of particular notice are King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The royal couple's names are signed in the register from 1934-1939, with the exception of 1937, the year of Prince Albert's coronation. Also contains four leaves of blotting paper laid in.

George VI (b. December 14, 1895, Norfolk, England–d. February 6, 1952, Nofolk, England) was King of the United Kingdom from December 11, 1936 until his death.
