Saying that if Perrin has not already made his choice and applicants are still being considered, Scribe would like to recommend M. Ballard "il a seul soutenir pendant vingt quatre ans le Theatre du Vaudeville sous une série d'absurdes directions," and adding that if a good administrator is Perrin's main concern, he cannot go wrong with Ballard.
