Saying that a lyric artist in possession of a good voice must have "a perfect emission and a well trained organ" and that his greatest happiness coming to Boston after 16 years is to read in every criticism of his singing that "my voice [is] better than ever and in perfect condition of resonance and intonation. This is the proof that my system of singing is the true one!"
