Signature to an indenture of bargain of sale, 1585 Dec. 2.

Whereby Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, agrees to convey to the Queen the lordship and borough of Denbigh and other property in Denbighshire, North Wales. It is stipulated that if Leicester does not pay the £17,600 he has received to 32 persons mentioned in the document these lands will be alienated to the Queen; if he does, they will revert to him.
