Saying [in 1921] that she must have been astonished when she last came to Madrid that Arbós did not come to see her and put himself at her disposal in his ville natale, explaining what happened, saying it was only a year later that he learned, through Mangeot, that Mme Alvar and Mrs. Harding were the same person, expressing the hope that she will forgive him and will come see him and his wife on her next visit to Madrid, mentioning [Georges Jean-]Aubry, etc.; and expressing regret [in 1926] at not having seen her in Paris or under calmer circumstances in London, asking if she is coming to Spain that summer, reporting on his successes in Switzerland and Paris, mentioning Copeley [Harding, her husband], etc.
