Autograph letter signed, dated : Zurich, 28 June 1853, to [Rudolf Schöneck?], 1853 June 28.

Saying that he has sent the necessary instructions to a lawyer in Leipzig to take all steps to impede the impudent Wirsing in Leipzig and Berlin, that the whole business is frankly beginning to annoy him: the recipient talks of September and October? "Im Sommer, jetzt hätte es sein müssen"; saying that he would be very concerned if Wallner had procured the Friedrich-Willhelmstädte-Bühne but only the Kroll Theater appeared to have been secured, reminding him that Lohengrin requires resources quite different from Tannhäuser, saying that if the recipient wants to produce Lohengrin in Posen he will surely fail in that insane undertaking [wahnsinnige Arbeit], etc.
