Autograph letter signed, dated : London, 8 November 1802, to M. [Pierre Louis] Ginguené, 1802 Nov. 8.

Expressing regret that he is leaving Paris without embracing Ginguené, saying that he knows that Ginguené is one of the commissioners named by the ministry to examine [Francesco] Bianchi's work [i.e. De l'attraction harmonique, ou Sistème phisico-mathematique], praising the originality, profundity, and merit of Bianchi's system, noting that he has seen it in practice with a child of 10, who is now as educated in composition and harmony as a great composer may be, adding that concerning art Miss Chinnery can answer all questions put to her, further recommending his friend Bianchi and his work, etc.

Italian violinist and composer Giovanni Viotti is best known for his Violin Concerto No. 22 in A minor. Viotti spent much of his life after 1782 in Paris and London.
