Thanking him for his interest in Schoenberg's music, saying that as for Munich he plans the same evening as the previous season's in Vienna: Gurrelieder (Part I, with piano accompaniment), Lieder von Stefan George, 3 Klavierstücke, etc., with Martha Winternitz-Dorda and her husband, either Etta Werndorf[f] or Emerich Balabán as pianist, tenor Hans Nachod, or, if the Gurrelieder is not done, suggesting a [string] quartet (the Rosé Quartet would of course be his favorite) with a singer (Frau Winternitz or Frau Gutheil), mentioning Wolfbauer, Iwan Fröbe, Emil Hertzka, etc.

Hans Nachod was born on July 2, 1883 in Vienna, to a family of Jewish cantors that originated in Prague. Nachod joined the Volksoper in Vienna in 1907 under the direction of Alexander von Zemlinsky through 1910, and then worked variously in Mainz, Kiel, Prague and Szczecin through the mid-1920s.
