Thanking him for reporting on the progress of his daughter [Sophia], saying the dearth of exceptional singing talent in Germany is so great that a new appearance in that area is welcomed from all sides, saying she can probably be engaged in Leipzig that fall, that a Concertsängerin position is vacant in Leipzig that might appeal to her, adding, however, that he would have to hear her again before deciding, saying that he is going to the Rhine in April and asking if he may expect to meet his daughter in Cologne at that time, mentioning [Karl?] Guhr, etc.
