Thanking him for his notice of M'Guckin's singing in [Thomas's] Mignon, saying he is nearly all right again, that he will make his first appearance in [Wagner's] Lohengrin, but not this season since "de Reszke has the right of always singing this role," asking Bennett to report that he is recovered, reporting on the success of [Hamish MacCunn's] Jeanie Deans, etc.
